The breathing condition test provides clarity about your breathing condition within 1 minute.
An infection with COVID-19 directly damages the respiratory system. Poor breathing condition slows recovery, causing the effects of the infection to linger longer. Slow and inadequate recovery creates tension at work and in private matters. This often results in a downward spiral both physically and mentally.
Probreathing’s COVID rehabilitation program helps with specific breathing techniques to regain breathing fitness. Probreathing has many years of experience in counseling people with asthma, hyperventilation, COPD, sleep apnea and anxiety, both nationally and internationally. In any case, a good breathing condition is important.
This is a unique program, online classes combined with personal coaching (via video sessions or in person on location).
This program uses the methods from the proven Buteyko course with modern insights and system.
According to Dennis Huizenga (international breathing expert and certified Buteyko therapist) it is not easy for most people to learn to adjust their breathing in a few days or only through videos or text. This program combines the advantages of an online program with the necessary personal guidance.
Coronavirus
The coronavirus has turned our world upside down. The elusive virus causes many people to suffer from agitation or anxiety. Probreathing has already been able to help many people reduce these symptoms by improving their breathing condition.
With the increased demand for support in the rehabilitation after a COVID-19 infection we have developed this program. It is specifically aimed at reducing the symptoms after a COVID-19 infection. We do this by working on the breathing condition and surrounding factors such as nutrition.
When you start the COVID rehabilitation program you will get direct access to Probreathing’s online learning platform. On this platform you will find informative videos about the influence of breathing on your body and the effects of unbalanced breathing.
In addition, there are numerous exercises that you can use to work on your breathing condition and recovery. These breathing exercises are structured in a logical pattern which teaches you how, what and when to train in a tailor-made program (depending on your personal breathing condition). At Probreathing we not only look at breathing, but at the whole spectrum of influences that can have an impact on your recovery. You will receive advice on which foods and supplements can improve or worsen your condition.
After purchasing the program, we recommend scheduling an appointment with your personal counselor at short notice. Usually the first intake appointment takes place at our practice in the Veluwe. During the intake, we take several measurements, such as: blood saturation, heart rate, blood pressure, frequency of breathing, depth of breathing and the breathing condition measurement.
With this information and your own story, together with your personal coach you will create a flexible plan with which you can improve your breathing condition as soon as possible. If necessary and desired, we can also involve your employer in this for additional consultation. In the beginning it is advisable to have a weekly appointment with your coach. After 3 weeks there is often more space between appointments and various factors (such as your progress, physical adaptability and perseverance) determine to what extent a follow-up appointment is necessary. If necessary, follow-up appointments can also take place via online video meetings. Through Whatsapp coaching we are always available to answer short questions directly.
Most people notice significant improvements within 3-4 weeks. We assume that you train for an hour daily.
You follow this program through our own private online platform, so you can always see exactly where you left off.
Do the lessons at your own pace, repeat as often as necessary.

"I was in hospital for weeks with COVID-19. The recovery after that was difficult, or actually just not. Dennis I knew as a respiratory specialist and I asked him to help me. The exercises were tough, but step by step my breathing condition improved and I was able to I can get through the day without meds again. Now I can walk again without having to think about whether I will last."” Read More
In addition to Mental Coaching, he also knows how to take care of your body and health and that is unique. Dennis goes further than other coaches. I can recommend him with all my heart and you will be successful.”
I called Dennis during a severe hyperventilation attack, I didn't know him, had just googled him. Dennis said in a very calm voice, ''Put your index finger under your nose and exhale as slowly and quietly as possible, so that while exhaling you don't feel any air on your finger.'' I did this for 3 minutes and then the hyperventilation attack was over.”
In the search for an optimal balance between reason and feeling and between work and home, Dennis asks the right questions, provides structure and is able to build spirituality into your daily life.”
