What is COVID and what can you do to recover?

COVID-19 has an estimated 10-30% of people who have difficulty recovering. Recovery starts with improving your breathing condition. COVID-19 has been proven to be a direct descendant of SARS, which emerged in 2005.

SARS stands for severe acute respiratory syndrome. So, the respiratory system needs to be in good shape. COVID has the tendency to give lesser mortality rate then SARS (9.6%) but a lot higher number of long COVID haulers. (COVID long haulers).

Rehabilitation after COVID

If you have had COVID-19 and after testing it is found that you are no longer contagious the recovery begins. Many people experience tremendous symptoms after COVID such as:

First of all, we are not a replacement for the doctor. Are you still testing positive and/or still receiving treatment from your doctor or hospital? If so, we cannot and will not be able to provide a replacement for them. However, if you are out of the hospital or have understood from the doctor that he/she cannot do much more for you, we can assist you in our COVID-19 rehabilitation program.

The COVID rehabilitation program can help you improve your breathing condition and thus speed up your recovery after COVID. We have already helped many people nationally and internationally with similar complaints and we found out that improving breathing condition is an essential part of recovery, even after months of illness or weakness in the client. In addition to the platform that supports you by taking online classes, you also get the necessary personal coaching. In the personal coaching, we look beyond breathing and give you advice on nutrition support, among other things.

Preferably we have the personal counseling take place in our practice on the Veluwe. If this is not possible, due to corona measures or other reasons, we can also do this online.

You set the pace yourself. It is advisable to do a bit every day. For training you need at least 45 minutes a day for a number of months (usually 3 to 4). The total course contains about 6 hours of teaching material.
