Excessive breathing (hyperventilation) results in breathing that is called, in medical terms, “breathing outside the norm.” You can think of a norm as a kind of upper and lower limit between which breathing is done in normal circumstances.

If this does not happen due to hyperventilation, for example, all kinds of self-protective measures will arise on various levels. When breathing returns to normal (i.e. when one breathes normally again) all kinds of different facets of the body will start to normalize. In short: your complaints will disappear and you will feel fit again.

A tailor-made program

Breathing we do unconsciously(fortunately). To change your breathing you therefore need a lot of practice and good guidance. Yet many therapists forget this in their therapy.
At Probreathing we look at your situation together; which symptoms do you suffer from?
Together with your coach you look for the underlying causes and determine which exercises can help you best. This way you always start with a personal program.

With only one hour of training per day, most people feel significant improvements within a few weeks.

We realise that not everyone has the same need for personal guidance. In the Breathing mastery program, you decide whether you want to work with the handy training videos yourself or whether you want personal guidance (first). Usually we advise, if the situation allows, to do the first personal session on location in Doornspijk and all other sessions online. During the intake on location we test your breathing condition, heart rate and oxygen level, in order to create a customized program.

You get access to the online platform with over 50 training videos. You can start right away with improving your breathing.

Are you not sure if all the lessons are important for you? Or do you have limited time?
Then your personal coach will look with you on whatsapp or video call and together with you make a selection of lessons that are important to you.

We believe that it is better to take small steps than to do nothing.

Don’t have time to work out for an hour every day? Then start with 20 minutes a couple of times a week and slowly expand. In this way, training your breathing will become part of your daily routine and eventually it won’t be difficult at all to start a class.

After we have received your application we will schedule an intake meeting. We like to meet you by secured video meetings, or we can meet at our practice in Doornspijk. If that is not possible, we will look for a way that is convenient for you.
You get instant access to our online platform with over 60 training videos. In these Dennis clearly explains the various exercises and you get more knowledge about breathing. So you can immediately start working with the program yourself. We are always available for you on Whatsapp if you have any questions.
Do you like to practice at your own pace? Of course you can. You can use the online platform to do it yourself. In principle, you can run through the entire program without supervision.
After a certain number of online lessons, we like to hear how you are doing. We often do this through an online conversation. We see if you have any questions, if you notice any progress and we discuss which exercises are most important for you to continue with. If you really don't want this, you can of course skip it.
We have a secured private video meeting platform. This way we can help you with questions about the exercises and discuss together which steps are important for you. We will also check with you if you are doing all the exercises in the right way. If you would like to work fully with live coaching, choose our program 'Personal coaching'.
