According to Dennis Huizenga (international breathing expert and certified Buteyko therapist) it is not easy for most people to learn to adjust their breathing in a couple of days. We therefore combine the power of live sessions on location with the advantage of practicing at home. Because of the personal coaching, we continuously look over your shoulder and adjust where necessary. This way you will quickly improve your breathing condition and quality of life.

Due to the coronavirus, online sessions have come to play a greater role. Partly due to his experience with foreign clients, Dennis is experienced in providing online counseling and can thus help you optimally from a distance.
Breathing we do unconsciously(fortunately). To change your breathing you therefore need a lot of practice and good guidance. Yet many therapists forget this in their therapy.
At Probreathing we take a look at your situation in a personal program; which symptoms do you suffer from? Together with your counsellor you look for the underlying causes and determine which exercises can help you best. This way you always start with a personal program.
During the intake session at our location we test your breathing condition, heart rate and oxygen level, in order to create a customized program.
During live sessions at our practice we guide you in improving your breathing condition. Most people need 6 to 8 hours of personal coaching to have enough knowledge and skills to help themselves.
At home you work with the exercises the therapist has given you.
The intake and the other personal sessions take place in our practice in Doornspijk. If for some reason it is not possible to meet physically, it is not a problem to deviate to a digital meeting. Because of the international character of Probreathing, we have extensive experience in professionally conducting personal coaching in the digital world.
You start with 30 minutes of training per day and we slowly expand this.
Besides the personal sessions you get access to the online platform with over 50 training videos. This way you can start improving your breathing immediately after the sessions.
Your personal counselor works with you to reduce symptoms and meet goals.
At home you will work at your own pace with the exercises you have been given.
Learn what is happening in your body and what exercises will give you balance.
The Buteyko belt helps as an extra support for the exercises of the Buteyko course. By wearing the band you become more aware of your breathing. By wearing the band for short periods during the day and night, you work on the calm breathing we strive for.
The band is available in three different sizes:
Small – diaphragm size 67 – 87cm
Medium – diaphragm size 89 -105cm
Large – diaphragm size 105 – 120cm
